We departed Gulfport at 8:30 AM under clear skies and South winds at 14 mph. 65 deg.

We can't seem to get off earlier than 8:30 AM. We're not in a rush.

Early in the day the Border Patrol stopped to ask us where we had come from and where we were going. Other than this, it was a mostly uneventful day.

What a day of sailing! 18 - 20 mph winds all day.

We didn't get quite as far as you might expect, but we're spending a very pleasant evening off the coast of Horn Island. We landed at 6:30 under beautiful skies and gentle winds. Everyone is settling in.

We noticed oil booms ready for deployment on the north shore of the island.

Tomorrow... Pirate's Cove.
