We departed from Pass Cristian at 9 AM under clear cool skies

66 deg with a ENE wind at 20 mph.

We reached our first sampling site at 10:20 AM. We finished sampling around 5:30 PM.

The winds were mostly calm. As the water got deeper it became more and more clear. The seas were never more than 5 feet.

After collecting samples from 7 sites we arrived at Ship Island at 7:15 PM

Upon arrival we were escorted in by an porpoise and amazed by all sorts of island and marine life. Porpoise, stingray, redfish, sand piper, horseshoe crabs, schools of spade fish, and jack cravale... and very interested horseflies.

Sunset 7:39. Low Tide 5.09 PM. A beautiful evening!

Tomorrow SouthWest. Stay Tuned. We'll post again on Wednesday afternoon.
